Mail / News client
I'm changing my mail /news reader from Turnpike ( which is fully standards compliant and pretty secure ) because it's no longer being developed and doesn't do mail scoring. I want this feature as Demons filters are losing the battle with the spammers.

I thought Thunderbird did this sort of thing, but it doesn't look like it. Any suggestions?

ps valkyrieblue, see here!

Use a POP proxy? I've had Camel's Eye and POPFile running for various people, I tried SpamAssassin for Windows but the DNS look-ups were a killer on my machine and have avoided it since but SA is a pretty wonderful tool. Anyway, pre-filtering mail seems a sensible option.

Otherwise Opera has a built in "Bayesian" filter which seems reasonably accurate. It can't be worse the Brightmail (Demon's).

Totally ignoring your topic, are you going to get your rockets off at Buxton Camp?
